taps
the sounds that the beaters produce as well as any ambient noise and sounds created by observers/participants, are picked up by microphones that are placed around the space. These sounds are processed (the processing being controlled by the chaotic circuits) and played back into the space, creating a feedback loop.
prior to installation, sounds from the local environment are recorded and used as a bed of noise to stimulate the chaotic system. Each installation of taps is unique to its environment
